Since 2001, when Morris debuted the S series, a demonstration live by a professional finger picker and an acoustic guitar festival called "Finger-Picking Day", which holds an amateur finger picking contest at the same time, have been held. It has played a role in enlivening the finger picker movement and continues to this day.
