High quality Sitka spruce is used for the top and carefully selected African mahogany are used for the sides and back. The combination of forward-shift X bracing and ladder bracing, and the expressive sound which mahogany produces in the midrange are appeal of this guitar.
The body shape has been changed from the conventional deep round back style to a standard round back style to suppress excess bandwidth and achieve a rich but not overly loud and well-balanced sound.
The bridge is made of Richlite, which has excellent acoustic properties and quality stability. The diamond volute improves neck strength and acoustics, and the design of the neck heel, which affects playability in the high position, makes this guitar ideal for fingerstyle playing.
