SC-16U Uchida Tokio Signature Model
The SC-16U is the signature model of Tokio Uchida, a solo guitarist renowned in Japan and abroad, mainly in the country and blues genres.
The SC-16U model has an offset nut with a groove cut closer to the 6th string to improve playability. In addition, the SC body design, which is slightly thinner than the regular S series, not only makes the instrument easier to pay, but also cuts the overtones in the lower midrange moderately, making the sound more responsive to player`s expression.
The SC-16U follows the concept of the luxuriously crafted SC-123U and is a cost-performance model handmade by a team of craftsmen at the Morris factory, but it is not just that. It is a model that will appeal to a wider range of fingerpickers inheriting Uchida's commitment to quality.

Specifications
Headstock design
The distinctive gentian design and wood inlay of the Morris logo. Gold hardware and ebony tuning keys add a touch of class.
Offset Nut
The offset nut is essential to Uchida's playing style. By offsetting all strings to the 6th string side, it makes the best setting for ragtime blues and solo guitar.
Neck Joint
High-precision dovetail joint is handcrafted by skilled builders. This is the joint method that Morris has consistently employed and it is the part that has the greatest impact on the sound, and requires the highest level of technical skill.
Fingerboard
High quality ebony wood with tight grain is used to achieve high quality in both playability and sound. One point gentian inlay on the 12th fret of fingerboard stands out.
