Specifications

Headstock design

Headstock design

A simple design with minimal ornamentation that you won`t get tired of. The wood-inlaid Morris logo and ebony-colored tuning keys give the instrument a luxurious feel.

Wide String Nut

Wide String Nut

The nut is 45mm which is wider than the standard S series nut. All strings are offset to the 6th string side for solo guitar chord work. This specification is the result of Mr. Minamisawa's accumulated experiences.

Neck Joint

Neck Joint

High-precision dovetail joint is handcrafted by skilled builder. This is the joint method that Morris has consistently employed and it is the part that has the greatest impact on the sound, and requires the highest level of technical skill.

Through-type Bridge

Through-type Bridge

A through-type bridge with string holes located behind the bridge plate. This design eliminates the need for a bridge pin, making it easier to replace the strings and more stable tuning.

Rosette and Cutaway

Rosette & Cutaway

The wood rosette and wood binding are designed for natural feel. The smooth and beautifully curved Venetian cutaway enhances the playability in the high position required of a solo guitar.

Rosewood Side and Back

Rosewood Side & Back

The standard round-back design provides an articulate and resilient sound. The silk flat finish, which allows for the thinnest possible coating, provides a delicate and open sound with a pleasant feel when playing.
