Headstock design
Figured koa head plate with Morris logo in Abalone shell. The hardware is gold open-back pegs. In addition to its gorgeous appearance, the lightweight tuning keys keep the neck from vibrating. The design maximizes the light, bright sound and rich overtones characteristic of the koa body.
Engelmann Spruce & Figured Koa
The combination of Engelmann Spruce, characterized by its rich high frequency range and soft tone, and Figured Koa, which is clear and responsive, has been designed for a unique sound. Body binding and soundhole rosette inlays add a subtle touch of luxury.
