A limited-edition model based on the S-series, which is specialized for fingerstyle playability, featuring traditional Kyoto washi adorning the rosette and headstock.

In addition to its striking appearance, it uses carefully selected high-quality Engelmann spruce for the top and rosewood for the sides and back. It inherits the rich resonance and excellent sound balance that defines the S-series.

This model guitar was crafted in Matsumoto, Nagano, and enhanced with traditional Japanese craftsmanship.

Washi paper made in Kyoto “Yuzen-shi”

The washi paper used in this series, Yuzen-shi, is a decorative paper characterized by its elegant and intricate designs reminiscent of Yuzen dyeing in kimonos.
The name originates from Miyazaki Yuzensai, the artist who developed the Yuzen dyeing technique in the mid-Edo period. The aesthetic that captivated people in that age continues to resonate even now.
Like Yuzen dyeing for kimonos, this Yuzen paper was also created to be appreciated in everyday life.
While its production incorporates techniques derived from Yuzen dyeing, pigments are used instead of dyes, allowing the vivid colors to be preserved over time without fading.
Screens are layered over the washi, and artisans carefully apply colors one by one, changing stencils for each layer in a synchronized process. Through this accumulation of delicate handwork, each sheet develops its own unique expression, with a depth that can never be replicated by machines.
