The combination of the glittering highs and soft mid-range of the Obi Cedar, and the firm mid-to-low range of the Wild Cherry wood gives the guitar a beautiful and powerful tone.
The slightly reddish color of the Wild Cherry wood is a good match for the Obi Cedar and is a beautiful looking luthier Morinaka's masterpiece.

The Obi Cedar, a precious species found in Miyazaki Prefecture in the Kyushu region, is used to produce the glittering sound. It has an oriental atmosphere unique to Japanese wood.
