Japan Forest Series - Crafted from Japanese Tone Woods -
As a new addition to the Japan Forest series, this specially designed guitar uses Zelkova from Miyazaki Prefecture for the side and back.
The top is made of Ji-Sugi (Japanese cedar), also from Miyazaki Prefecture, and the neck is made of Mizume (Japanese ash), in pursuit of the potential of the Japanese wood.
Takumi Morinaka, one of Japan's leading acoustic guitar luthiers, has created an artistic piece that brings out the refined beauty and powerful character of Japanese wood. The shimmering highs and soft mid-range of Ji-Sugi are perfectly blended with the resilient acoustic properties of Zelkova, making this a masterpiece.
